Instantcart.com, owned by the the Leeds based ecommerce platform provider Redbeck Ltd has announced the launch of its beta testing program, ready for the roll out of its new range of online shopping cart services hosted in the cloud.

Instantcart Ample (beta) is now open for testing, allowing Instantcart to be fine tuned ready for commercial launch in June 2011.  Redbeck Ltd is now actively looking for keen beta testers who want to start or move their online store for free, whilst benefiting from a free fully hosted ecommerce service.

Instantcart will boast an absolutely free ecommerce solution for low volume users.  This is especially interesting for individuals who want to sell a few items online, such as home made crafts and artwork, without the burden of paying for an ecommerce solution.   Paul Roberts of Redbeck Ltd, Instantcart's parent company said "all you need is a PayPal account and you're ready to go!".

The beta program will allow users to add up to 50 products, unlimited categories, and add both Paypal Express and Sagepay checkout as live payment options.

Paul Roberts went on to say "The internal and front end consumer facing functionality of Instantcart is ready to go, however certain backoffice interface and usability elements need extra testing. Instantcart is packed with features that we hope will benefit our users, such as an in built email ticket system and fully integrated payment options".

Instantcart Launches Facebook Application @ Wed 9th Feb 11, 18:33

Instantcart has announced the launch of its Facebook Application; a great new tool, that allows Instantcart webshop owners to link their online stores to their Facebook Fan page via an Instantcart Shop tab.

Always pushing the boundaries to explore new avenues and maximise the potential of social networking, the new Facebook Application should help store owners market their special offers to their Facebook fans whilst at the same time being subtle about it.

By keeping the Facebook Application Shop page clean and removing Buy Now buttons, Instantcart has succeeded in not over powering the Fan page with too much commerciality.

Instantcart feels that users of Facebook are there to socialise and check up on what their friends are doing, so being too commercial might push fans away.
